Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Functional Business Architect to lead the functional design, process optimization, and solution enablement of our Field Service capabilities. This role will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable solutions leveraging industry-leading Field Service Management platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong domain experience in after-sales service, warranty, workforce management, service operations, and customer engagement.

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to define the Field Service operating model, including service scheduling, dispatch, work order management, spare parts logistics, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Lead functional workshops to capture requirements, define user journeys, and establish service process maps across regions/countries.
  • Develop functional solution designs and ensure alignment with business goals, compliance standards, and system architecture principles.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, solution architects, and delivery teams to ensure high-quality implementation and user adoption.
  • Define service metrics, dashboards, and KPIs to improve service efficiency, SLA compliance, and customer experience.
  • Drive change management, including training enablement, documentation, and hypercare support during rollouts.
  • Ensure seamless integration of Field Service solutions with CRM, ERP, mobile apps, inventory, warranty, and Service Analytics platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Field Service functional consulting/business architecture roles.
  • Good understanding of any of these tool like Salesforce Field Service, SAP FSM, ServiceMax, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of Field Service operations: preventive & predictive maintenance, dispatching & crew management, contract & warranty management, entitlements, and service pricing.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing Field Service solutions in global multi-country deployments.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decisions in a matrix organization.
  • Domain expertise in any of the area will add advantage Manufacturing, Automotive, or Industrial Equipment service operations.
