founding the QA function
for a company shipping mission-critical AI solutions.

Who You Are

  • 7-12 years
    building
    end-to-end automation frameworks from zero
    (Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Appium, REST API testing)
  • Programming ninja
    : Java / Python / TypeScript (you write clean, maintainable, production-grade code — not just scripts)
  • Startup DNA
    : You've set up CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), integrated with Jira/TestRail, and shipped frameworks used by 10+ devs
  • Hands-on with modern stack
    :
  • Web
    : Selenium 4 + WebDriverIO / Playwright (headless, parallel, cross-browser)
  • API
    : RestAssured / Karate / Pact
  • Mobile
    : Appium + real devices / BrowserStack
  • AI/ML testing
    bonus: Validating model outputs, drift detection, data pipeline tests
  • Architecture thinker
    : You design
    flaky-resistant, scalable, data-driven
    frameworks (Page Object, Screenplay, BDD with Cucumber)

What You'll Own (Day 1 Impact)

  • Build PCG's automation backbone from scratch
    :
  • Design modular, reusable framework for web, API, and mobile
  • Set up CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions + Docker + AWS)
  • Own test data strategy, reporting (Allure/Extent), and alerting
  • Lead regression for AI platforms
    :
  • Automate complex workflows: AI model deployment, security audits, data pipelines
  • Validate non-functional: load, security, compliance (HIPAA, GDPR)
  • Hire & mentor
    : Grow a 2–3 person QA pod in 6 months
  • Evangelize quality
    : Pair with devs, enforce shift-left, reduce manual QA by 80%
  • Ship with founders
    : Your framework will unblock $1M+ client deliveries
