Job Title: Commercial Truck Insurance Manager

Location: Mohali/Ludhiana/Zirakpur

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial truck insurance clients, including owner-operators, small fleets, and logistics companies.
  • Assess client needs and tailor coverage options such as primary liability, physical damage, cargo, and general liability.
  • Prepare and present competitive quotes from multiple carriers.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with underwriters to secure the best value for clients.
  • Maintain compliance with FMCSA and state insurance regulations.
  • Build long-term relationships with trucking business owners, dispatchers, and fleet managers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth policy issuance, renewals, and claims support.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial truck or transportation insurance (agency, broker, or underwriting background preferred).
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in at least one U.S. state (multi-state licensing a plus).
  • Strong understanding of trucking coverages, DOT/FMSCA requirements, and insurance carriers in the trucking market.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales or retention goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
  • Experience with AMS/CRM systems and comparative rating tools a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14, ₹35,499.90 per month
