  • Key Skills & Competencies: 

    • In-depth knowledge of GST and other indirect tax laws in India.

    • Strong analytical, liaisoning, and communication skills.

    • Demonstrable, in-depth experience in Indirect tax issues

    • The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and government authorities to ensure timely and accurate compliance with GST and other indirect tax laws.

    • High integrity and ethical standards

Key responsibilities –

  • Compliance & Reporting:

    • Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns, reconciliations, and other statutory filings.

    • Monitor changes in indirect tax laws and implement necessary changes in processes and systems.

    • Maintain documentation and records as per statutory requirements.

  • Litigation & Representation:

    • Handle indirect tax assessments, audits, and litigation.

    • Draft replies to notices, appeals, and represent the company before tax authorities.

    • Coordinate with legal counsel and consultants for complex litigation matters.

  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Collaborate with finance, legal, supply chain, and business teams.

    • Liaise with external consultants, auditors, and government authorities.

    • Support statutory audits and internal audits related to indirect taxes.

  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or LLB with specialization in Taxation.

Experience: 4–5 years of post-qualification experience of indirect tax compliance, advisory and litigation in Big4/MNC/High volume company
