Role :

Head Accounts and Tax to lead our accounting and

taxation functions, ensure compliance with IND AS and other regulatory requirements, and support the

organizations financial strategy. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in accounting

standards, direct and indirect taxation, and NBFC-specific compliance, along with strong leadership skills to

guide the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance

with IND AS.

  • Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure proper accounting treatment for complex NBFC transactions, including loan

accounting, securitization, ECL provisioning, and fair value measurement.

  • Maintain and enhance internal financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure data

integrity.

Taxation
• Manage all aspects of direct taxation (Income Tax, TDS) and indirect taxation (GST, Stamp Duty) for the NBFC.


• Oversee tax planning, compliance, and filing of returns in line with statutory deadlines.


• Liaise with tax authorities and handle assessments, audits, and notices.


• Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations where applicable. Regulatory & Compliance


• Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, Companies Act requirements, and other applicable NBFC-specific regulations

• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and regulatory bodies

• Monitor changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and NBFC regulations, and implement necessary changes in processes.

Financial Planning & Control

  • Assist the CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.


• Provide financial insights and variance analysis to support management decisions

• Optimize working capital management and cash flow planning. Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.


• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance function.

Desired Experience:

CA (Chartered Accountant) with 1012 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the

NBFC/financial services sector.

  • Strong technical expertise in IND AS (including IND AS 109 Financial Instruments, IND AS 32, and IND AS

107).
