Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Associate at our Nagpur, Maharashtra, India location (second shift or night shift). The Tax Associate will handle the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws, and assist with researching and interpreting tax regulations. The role involves providing support on various tax reporting requirements and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and procedures. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver accurate and timely tax services.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Tax Preparation, Tax Compliance, and Tax Filing
  • Strong knowledge of Tax Law and related practices
  • Experience in Finance and financial reporting
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (EA or CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory)
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software Especially Drake Tax and Microsoft Office Suite. Also familiarity with TaxDome, Quickbooks, Zoho, Xero, would be nice to have.
  • Training will be provided (on going as well as learn as you go)
  • Must be driven, self-motivated, self-learner, trustworthy, honest and hard working. Able to work independently as well as under supervision.
