Release & Change Manager

Role and Responsibilities
Release Engineering:
- Perform release deployment activities, ensuring minimal downtime and high-quality releases.
- Analyze system architecture and deployment impacts.
- Identify dependencies, mitigate risks, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve release-related issues in collaboration with Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Product teams.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on release progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Facilitate resolution of deployment problems and drive continuous improvement in deployment processes.
- (Good to have) Automate deployment tasks, mentor junior engineers, implement feature flagging, and analyze release performance.
Change & Problem Management:
- Manage change and problem processes, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Demonstrate strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Influence stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- Understand and apply incident management processes.
- (Good to have) Hold Change Management certifications, and be comfortable with JIRA, ServiceNow, and project development lifecycles.
Required Skills
- Practical experience in Release Engineering and Change/Problem Management.
- Excellent communication (verbal & written) and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work PST overlap till noon PST.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
