Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and analytical
Finance Controller
to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting across production sites. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of manufacturing cost structures, inventory management, financial reporting & Project costing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for manufacturing operations
  • Analyze monthly production costs, variances, and operational KPIs
  • Perform cost accounting and standard cost analysis, including BOMs (Bills of Materials), labor, overhead, and material costs
  • Monitor inventory valuation and movements; analyze inventory aging and write-offs
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and support efficiency improvements with operations and supply chain teams
  • Provide management with detailed financial reports, margin analysis, and profitability assessments
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial closing for manufacturing entities
  • Support internal controls, compliance, and audit processes related to plant finances
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and engineering departments to align financial goals with operational performance
  • Participate in capital expenditure planning, investment analysis, and ROI evaluations
  • Contribute to ERP system improvements and automation of finance processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, manufacturing KPIs, and operational finance
  • Proficient in ERP systems e.g., SAP – Co Module, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of IFRS/Ind AS will be preferred
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate financial data to non-financial stakeholders
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Power BI,
  • CMA or equivalent certification
  • Fluency in English, Hindi & Telegu

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records and account personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance with government agencies
  • Act as the point of contact for external auditors
  • Maintain internal books and analyse financial transactions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
  • Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
