Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Rotating Equipment Design Engineer to lead the design and engineering of rotating machinery for complex oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in mechanical design, equipment selection, and vendor coordination, along with a strong grasp of industry standards and multidisciplinary project execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in both onshore and offshore oil & gas projects.
  • Familiarity with digital engineering tools and 3D modeling.

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and specification of rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, and motors.
  • Prepare and review technical datasheets, specifications, and requisition packages.
  • Conduct technical bid evaluations and assist procurement in vendor selection.
  • Coordinate with vendors for design reviews, inspections, and testing (FAT/SAT).
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO, etc.).
  • Collaborate with process, piping, instrumentation, and project teams for seamless integration.
  • Review and approve vendor drawings and documentation.
  • Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and start-up phases.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in rotating equipment design within the oil & gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of API standards (API 610, API 617, API 618, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
