Lead Engineer - Coal Handling Systems

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the design and implementation of coal handling systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive designs for coal handling systems, encompassing conveyors, wagon tipplers, rotary discharge machines, crushers, stackers, reclaimers, hoppers, and conveyor-associated equipment.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of engineering drawings, design calculations, and technical specifications to guarantee compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers in adhering to established design standards and project timelines, fostering a culture of excellence and efficiency.
  • Negotiate with clients, consultants, and vendors to resolve technical queries and ensure design conformity.
  • Perform feasibility studies, site assessments, and layout planning to optimize system performance and minimize costs.

To succeed in this challenging role, you will require expertise in layout engineering for WT complexes, TH complexes, CH, Conveyor systems with galleries, and JH. A strong foundation in design standards, project management, and effective communication skills are essential for success.
