Must Have Skills


•    Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and applied Statistics, Linear Algebra, and Calculus


•    Mathematical intuition of Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms, especially for text and structured data


•    Ability to perform thorough model evaluation and hypothesis testing using statistical analysis


•    Exposure to Natural Language Processing, recommendation systems, machine learning pipelines, and rule-based logic


•    Proactive and creative in problem-solving, with active participation in group discussions


•    Comfortable reading research papers and experimenting with novel model architectures, feature engineering strategies, and loss functions relevant to recruitment data

Tasks & Responsibilities


•    Research state-of-the-art NLP and AI techniques from research papers, top journals, and open-source projects — and reproduce/adapt them for hiring and recruitment workflows


•    Build and evaluate AI models for candidate-job matching, skill extraction, job-role classification, recruiter productivity analytics, and predictive hiring insights


•    Apply embedding models (BERT, SBERT, LLM-based embeddings) for semantic search and ranking


•    Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) on recruitment datasets (resumes, job descriptions, recruiter actions) to derive actionable insights


•    Prepare, validate, and improve training and evaluation datasets for AI experiments


•    Implement model evaluation routines, derive hypotheses, and recommend optimizations


•    Contribute to rule-based systems for recruiter nudges, stage aging alerts, and candidate prioritization
