Oversee daily administration of tax filings for assigned legal entities including distributions of tax remittances according to tax jurisdiction guidelines. Manage client delivery across Tax filing Shared Services and work to mitigate escalations. Respond to Client and Client Team inquiries.  

·       Provide support and guidance for all implementations and go lives 

·       Performs audits, analysis data, reconcile and balance payroll tax results, for all on and off cycle processing's and adjustment runs 

·       Reviews all variances through investigation and resolution processes, completes root cause analysis as required, and recommends intervention procedures and communicates variances 

·       Analyzes Tax Profiles (including registration processes and POAs)

·       Completes company/client setups in Tax Systems 

·       Participates in client testing (either new clients or projects) 

·       Analyzes compliance issues 

·       Analyzes internal processes, methods, and procedures to ensure appropriate audit controls are in place and being followed 

·       Communicates regularly with various payroll processing teams to resolve escalation issues and to share lessons learned to optimize service delivery 

·       Build good relationships with all lines of businesses where appropriate 

·       Participates in projects and activities as needed and assigned 

·       Ability to make timely and complex recommendations using technology, accounting theory and methods 

·       Research and resolution of all unexpected errors and or changes in Agency processes.   

·       Identifies and resolves escalations or complex tax filing issues and errors. 

·       Ability to identify and support solution of defects associated with patterns, trends, and root cause analysis. 

·       Communicates effectively with internal partners to problem solve, analyze, and resolve tax filing related issues. 

·       Escalate non-compliance of processes and procedures. 

·       Support internal and external audits. 

·       Support SOP research and documentation. 

·       Support testing and maintenance of tax filing software 

Education and Experience 

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

·       Detail-oriented, organized and capable of prioritizing workload to complete multiple tasks and meet aggressive deadlines 

·       Accounting/Account Reconciliation experience  

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel – pivots, vlook-ups, concatenate  

·       Requires the ability to interact with others in multiple locations globally. 

·       Self-motivated and a willingness to learn.  

·       Demonstrated strong verbal & written communication skills required. 

· Years of Payroll Tax Filing experience (Canada)

· years' experience with tax filing software required. 

. Master Tax experience desired 

. ADP Smart Compliance experience desired 

. 3 year degree degree/Diploma
