About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager for one of clients in Hyderabad. This senior-level role is crucial to overseeing day-to-day financial operations, managing the accounting team, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Our client deals in furniture fittings, architectural hardware, and related components.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily accounting operations: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general ledger

Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements and handle all banking transactions

Timely computation and payment of TDS, Professional Tax, EPF, and ESI

Review and control activities of the Purchase and Stores Departments

Verify vendor bills, process them, and ensure timely payments

Manage waybills and ensure timely return filings

Compute TDS on payments, handle deposits, and manage returns

Support preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation

Manage the financial planning and control of the company

Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors to meet compliance requirements

Reconcile accounts, follow up on advances, and manage debtor reconciliations

Generate monthly invoices based on direct and indirect expenses

Finalize accounts up to the Balance Sheet level

Prepare daily cash flow statements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for compliance and operational alignment

Candidate Profile:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline 4 to 6 years of relevant hands-on accounting experience

In-depth knowledge of GST and RCM compliance under GST law

Proficient in Focus accounting software and strong in MS Excel

Excellent analytical, numerical reasoning, and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines

Strong verbal and written communication skills
