We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Data Analyst/ Consultant Specialist.

Department: Distributed Compute

In this role, you will:

• Lead and contribute to the development of data-driven solution, dashboards, and reports, ensuring alignment with business requirements and advanced visualization needs.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define project objectives, prioritise tasks, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop, and implement scalable ETL processes using PySpark, Python, and other relevant technologies.
• Establish and promote best practices for software development and data engineering workflows.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and well-optimised code.
• Develop and implement data-driven solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and CI/CD pipelines, optimising processes for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Apply data science methodologies, including machine learning and predictive analytics, to solve business problems and enhance decision-making.
• Continuously research, evaluate, and adopt emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improve project outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Good understanding of data engineering, including ETL/ELT frameworks, data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Apache), and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).

• Data Engineering; Python; Pipelines (CI/CD); Data Scient concepts; ML; Splunk 

• Exp: 3-8 years
• Proficiency in programming with Python, PySpark, and Shell Scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data warehousing solutions.
• Demonstrated experience with Splunk or similar data visualization tools, including onboarding new data sources and developing insightful, user-friendly dashboards.
• Strong understanding of data science concepts, including machine learning, statistical modelling, and predictive analytics.
• Hands-on experience with data science tools and frameworks (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Proficiency with DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible Automation, JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
• Proficiency in analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
