The Pre-Primary Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing, stimulating, and age-appropriate learning environment for children aged 2.5 to 5 years. The teacher supports the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young learners through structured activities, creative play, and early learning curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with early childhood education standards.
  • Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Promote development in areas such as language, motor skills, emotional regulation, and social interaction.
  • Monitor and document each child's progress and report to parents and school leadership.
  • Use a variety of teaching materials and methods (e.g., storytelling, games, songs, crafts).
  • Encourage creativity, curiosity, and independence in young learners.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and manage behavioral issues with empathy and positive reinforcement.
  • Communicate regularly with parents through meetings, reports, and informal interactions.
  • Collaborate with co-teachers, aides, and school staff to support children's overall development.
  • Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and hygiene according to school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education / Montessori / NTT (Nursery Teacher Training) or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in a pre-primary setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a nurturing personality.
  • Proficiency in English (or required teaching language).
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹40,000.00 per month
