**Job Summary**

The Primary Computer Science Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and age-appropriate computer science lessons to primary school students, fostering digital literacy, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills. The teacher will encourage creativity, innovation, and responsible use of technology to support learning and development.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Lesson Planning and Delivery**:

- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
- Teach fundamental computer skills, coding, and basic programming languages suitable for primary students.
- Introduce students to computational thinking, problem-solving, and digital creativity.
- **Student Engagement**:

- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Use hands-on activities, games, and interactive tools to make learning engaging and fun.
- Encourage collaboration and teamwork through group projects and activities.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Design age-appropriate computer science and technology lessons tailored to different learning abilities.
- Stay updated with advancements in educational technology to enhance the curriculum.
- **Technology Integration**:

- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate technology into the broader curriculum.
- Guide students in using technology responsibly and ethically.
- **Assessment and Reporting**:

- Monitor and assess student progress through quizzes, projects, and assignments.
- Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate student records.
- Communicate with parents about student achievements and areas for improvement.
- **Professional Development**:

- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and conferences to enhance teaching skills.
- Share best practices with colleagues and contribute to the professional learning community.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure a safe and secure environment for using digital devices and tools.
- Adhere to school policies regarding technology use and child safeguarding.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Master 's in Computer Science ,Information Technology,
- A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent) is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Prior experience teaching computer science or ICT to primary school students.
- Familiarity with coding tools such as Scratch, Blockly, or Python for beginners.
- **Skills**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in educational software and basic programming tools.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
- **Other Requirements**:

- Passion for teaching young learners and inspiring a love for technology.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and improvement.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
