Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our young and motivated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all that comes with the Job Title. This role requires a strong understanding of quantity and cost control at every stages of construction process. The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with Project Managers, Purchase and Accounting departments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Monitor project costs and implement cost control measures to ensure financial efficiency.
- Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of projects.
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, and agreements for subcontractors.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Provide advice on procurement strategies and assist in the selection of contractors.
- Manage variations and claims throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and compliance with contractual obligations.
Requirements
- A Degree or Diploma in Civil engineering is essential.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience working with Contractors / developers.
- Strong knowledge of cost control principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in using quantity surveying software, ERP and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making is essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 per month
