Job Description
Network and Firewall Engineer (L2)
L2 candidates to support in a 24 X 7 environment with the following skill sets. All candidates should be open to work in shifts (majorly afternoon shifts).
Act as an escalation point for all network and security related issues (LAN / WAN / VPN / Palo Alto Firewalls)
- Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN etc.
- Manage network devices including routers, switches, firewalls and wireless controllers.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and bandwidth issues.
Implement and manage network segmentation, VLANs, and routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, etc.).
Maintain network documentation including topology diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Implement and manage Palo Alto Firewalls (including Panorama)
- Perform regular firmware, OS, and software updates on network and security devices
- Bachelors degree in engineering with rele vant certifications (Cisco and Palo Alto)
- 5+ years of quality experience in setup of more than 5000 users.
