Company Description

Scandalous Foods is a fast-growing Indian sweets manufacturing startup with our dedicated

production facility in Nashik. We are looking for a dedicated Accounts / Finance Manager with

manufacturing finance experience who can independently set up and manage the entire accounts &

finance function for our business.

Role Description

This role is ideal for someone with 4–6 years of finance & accounts experience in a manufacturing /

FMCG setup (startup experience preferred). The candidate should be hands-on with end-to-end

accounting, statutory compliances, reconciliations, and should have exposure to financial due

diligence processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end bookkeeping in Tally & Zoho Books.
  • Handle cash flow and fund flow management, ensuring adequate liquidity.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable & Collections – invoicing, payment follow-ups, reconciliations.
  • Manage Accounts Payable – vendor bills, payment scheduling, credit cycles.
  • Ensure PO–GRN–Invoice reconciliation for all purchases.
  • Handle bank reconciliations, journal entries, and payables reconciliations.
  • Conduct physical inventory & financial audits at the Nashik plant.
  • Manage statutory compliances – GST, TDS, returns, and filings.
  • Liaise with auditors for audits, statutory filings, and due diligence.
  • Prepare MIS reports, P&L statements, and dashboards for management.
  • Support in financial due diligence for fundraising and investor reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field (CA Inter / ICWA preferred).
  • 4–6 years of experience in finance & accounts, mandatory in a manufacturing company.
  • Prior experience in a startup environment preferred.
  • Exposure to financial due diligence is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Tally & Zoho Books.
  • Strong knowledge of cash flow, fund flow, reconciliations, GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
  • Hands-on in collections, payables, and process building.
  • Ability to work independently, set up systems, and liaise with auditors.
  • Willingness to travel to Nashik for plant audits.
