Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Accountant will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including preparing financial statements, managing budgets, accounts payable and receivable, reconciling ledgers, and ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements. The role will involve supporting audits, preparing tax filings, analyzing financial data, and contributing to the improvement of internal financial processes. The Accountant will work closely with other departments to support strategic financial decisions.

Qualifications

  • Financial accounting, bookkeeping, and ledger management skills
  • Budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting expertise
  • Proficiency with financial software and tools, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of tax laws, compliance standards, and regulatory reporting
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating financial data
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent is a plus)
  • Experience working in the financial services industry is advantageous
