IT Licence and Asset Management Consultant

Global License and FinOps Analyst provide operational and administrative support to the Global IT Procurement team by managing software license records, assisting with renewal and ensuring compliance with technology licensing and spending agreements. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate license inventories and supporting IT procurement activities across regions.

• The Global License and FinOps Analyst serve as the primary contact for all matters related to license management within Anthesis. This includes maintaining centralized records of software licenses, subscriptions and entitlements to ensure a comprehensive and organized inventory across all regions.
• Responsibilities also include tracking license usage, monitoring expiration dates and managing renewal schedules across multiple regions to prevent lapses and ensure ongoing compliance. The Analyst supports IT procurement activities by facilitating vendor communications, collecting quotes, and reviewing contracts as required.
• The Analyst is responsible for identifying and mitigating risks associated with software overuse, underuse, or unauthorized installations, to maintain adherence to licensing agreements.
• Collaboration with IT teams is key to gathering licensing requirements and usage data, which supports accurate reporting. The Analyst generates detailed reports on license utilization, tracks associated costs and monitors compliance status regularly.
• This role also contributes to the standardization of licensing methodologies, best practices, tracking tools and compliance processes throughout the organization on a global scale. Additionally, the Analyst supports the Group CTO by providing relevant FinOps reporting and ensuring license compliance as required.

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required
• With 3+ years of relevant experience in software license management, license administration, or license support preferably in a global environment.
• Strong understanding of software licensing regulations, compliance standards, familiarity with software licensing models (SaaS, subscription, perpetual).
• Knowledge of records management, analysis, reporting and software asset management
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
