Job Description We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) Consultant to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the SAM Pro module within the ServiceNow platform to ensure software assets are accurately discovered, licensed, tracked, and optimized across the enterprise. This role plays a key part in driving compliance, cost efficiency, and governance maturity, working closely with the Software Asset Management and IT operations teams. Your tasks - Configuring and deploying the ServiceNow SAM Pro module to manage software assets across on-premise, cloud, and SaaS environments - Setting up normalization, reconciliation, publisher packs, entitlement imports, reclamation rules, and license models - Integrating SAM Pro with other ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CMDB, HAM, Discovery, Cloud Insights) and external systems (SCCM, Intune, Azure, procurement databases) - Building and maintaining Effective License Positions (ELPs) for key publishers such as Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, IBM, and VMware - Automating reclamation and optimization workflows to reclaim unused software entitlements and reduce spend - Designing and documenting SAM processes aligned with ISO/IEC 19770 and ITIL best practices - Developing dashboards and reporting for compliance status, optimization opportunities, and financial impact - Conducting stakeholder workshops to gather requirements, deliver training, and promote SAM best practices Requirements - 37 years of experience in IT Asset Management / Software Asset Management, with at least 2 years focused on ServiceNow SAM Pro - Strong hands-on experience in configuring and implementing ServiceNow SAM Pro (normalization, reconciliation, publisher packs, reclamation) - Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, CMDB, Discovery, ITSM, and integration points - Expertise in software licensing models for major vendors (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, IBM, VMware, SAP) - Experience integrating SAM Pro with external discovery tools (SCCM, Intune, JAMF, AWS/Azure inventory) - Knowledge of SAM governance, ISO/IEC 19770 standards, and ITIL-aligned process design - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in SAM data reporting and visualization - Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders Job no. 251104-JNCJI Benefits For You Diverse portfolio of clients Wide portfolio of technologies Employment stability Remote work opportunities Contracts with the biggest brands Great Place to Work Europe Many experts you can learn from Open and accessible management team
