Role Overview

The Screen-Printing Machine Installation & Operation Operator will be responsible for installing, setting up, and operating screen printing machines used in finished product manufacturing. This role requires hands-on expertise in screen preparation, stencil making, ink mixing, machine calibration, and print quality control. The operator will ensure smooth machine functioning, consistent output, and support the production team with training, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance.

Role & Responsibilities

· Install, set up, and align screen printing machines for production.

· Prepare screens, stencils, and inks as per job requirements.

· Perform accurate colour mixing and maintain print consistency.

· Calibrate machines for correct registration and high-quality output.

· Handle printing on different surfaces/materials used in production.

· Conduct test runs, ensure proper alignment, and correct printing defects.

· Coordinate with production and quality teams for smooth workflow.

· Train operators/workers on safe machine handling and job procedures.

· Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues during installation or operation.

· Assist in preventive maintenance and minor repairs of printing machines.

· Maintain production, installation, and quality inspection records.

· Assist in packing and dispatch of machine from the workshop.

Preferred Candidate Profile

· 2–4 years of experience in screen printing machine operation/installation.

· Skilled in screen preparation, stencil making, ink preparation, and colour matching.

· Knowledge of machine calibration, alignment, and troubleshooting.

· ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Printing Technology preferred.

· Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently.

· Willingness to travel (if required) for installation projects.
