Role & responsibilities:

Product Design: Work alongside senior design engineers to create 2D and 3D models, assembly drawings, and prototypes for both new and existing products.

Design Optimisation: Assist in analysing and improving the performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of our printing machines and allied equipment.

Prototyping and Testing: Participate in the development of prototypes and conduct tests to evaluate the functionality and performance of designs.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, bills of materials and machine operator manuals.

Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality control, and sales, to ensure design objectives are met.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that designs conform to all relevant industry standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the design department.
