Job Description

Summary:

We're looking for an India Social Media & Content Specialist to join ServiceNow and help us capture the hearts and minds of our audiences. In this role, you'll support our core social media and thought leadership programmes in India—bringing always-on storytelling to life, shaping thought leadership content, and powering our employee advocacy programme to build brand awareness across the region.

You'll report into the Sr. APAC Social Media & Content Specialist, work closely with the India Communications team, our social media agency, and collaborate with stakeholders across our India teams (specifically sales, tech and talent brand) to make sure our stories connect with the right audiences at the right time.

What you'll do:

Support strategic programmes across social and content

  • Partner with our agency to brief, review, and optimise content aligned to business priorities and strategic events.
  • Maintain the content and creative social calendar for India, ensuring coverage of campaigns, thought leadership, and employee advocacy initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of thought leadership and multimedia content (including video) that aligns to India priorities.

Employee advocacy and amplification

  • Assist in driving adoption of the Social Ambassador program in India.
  • Manage and update content in the platform, ensuring employees have engaging, brand-aligned stories to share.
  • Partner with the global social media team to optimise the tool experience for India users.

Trends, insights and optimisations

  • Monitor social and cultural trends to ensure content is fresh and relevant.
  • Utilise insights to review and refine content, ensuring ongoing optimisation of campaigns and always-on activity.

Balance local impact with global alignment

  • Be a brand guardian, ensuring India content aligns with global tone of voice and brand guidelines while connecting authentically with local audiences.
  • Support APAC regional programmes as needed to ensure consistent execution across markets.
Qualifications

To be successful in the role:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • A digital/social native with approx 3- 5 years of experience in social media and content development.
  • A creative thinker with hands-on experience creating content.
  • Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of social platforms and analytics, with strong focus on LinkedIn and ability to adapt to new platforms.
  • Strong creative storytelling skills and hands-on experience producing and editing digital content.
  • Familiarity with paid media and influencer ecosystem and employee advocacy or community-building strategies is a plus.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and with agency partners.
  • A motivated self-starter with tenacity for execution and delivery.
  • A love for fast-paced and ever-changing environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field – or strong demonstrated relevant experience
