Education: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field. MBA/PGDM in Operations is a plus.

  • Experience: 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in a similar industry (preferably steel/plastic barrel, container, or packaging).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as rolling, welding, painting, curing, sealing, and QA/QC processes specific to barrel manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Management:

Oversee all aspects of the barrel manufacturing process, from raw material procurement to final product delivery. Ensure production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are met consistently. Develop and implement production schedules and workflows for optimal efficiency.

  1. Team Leadership and Workforce Management:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production supervisors, operators, technicians, and other staff members. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities for employees.

  1. Quality Control:

Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications for all products. Establish and monitor quality control processes, including inspections, testing, and corrective actions. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to identify and resolve quality issues and achieve zero quality complaint. Knowledge of established as well as leading-edge tools and concepts in manufacturing like TPM, 5S, Kaizen, QMS ( Six Sigma, ISO 9001, ISO
