What You'll Do

  • Build, scale, and optimize backend features and APIs used across our platform
  • Design and maintain RESTful APIs for both internal and external integrations
  • Work on AI/ML integrations and build intelligent workflows
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and developers to translate ideas into production-ready code
  • Participate in code reviews and advocate for best practices in clean code and architecture
  • Contribute to backend architectural discussions, refactoring, and performance improvements
  • Take full ownership from development to deployment and support

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python-based backend development
  • Proficiency in Python frameworks like Django, FastAPI, or Flask
  • Experience in REST API design and integration
  • Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and an ownership mindset
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and move fast without compromising quality
  • Hunger to learn, grow, and contribute to high-impact product development

Good to Have

  • Experience working with AI/ML models, LLMs, or AI integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
  • Exposure to microservices and distributed systems
  • Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar message brokers
  • Understanding of performance tuning and monitoring tools
  • Prior experience in early-stage startups or 0→1 product development
