Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Design Quality Control Specialist to join our
dynamic interior design team. As a Design QC Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring
that design plans not only meet creative and aesthetic standards but also align with technical
and execution requirements. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the highest standards
of design excellence and client satisfaction.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field
- Proficiency in design software and technical tools, including Sketchup, Sketchup Layout,
etc.
- 3+ years of experience in interior design
- Experience of Modular Woodwork Concepts
- Experience in Design Quality Control
- Strong understanding of interior design principles and practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving both design and
technical challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Conduct reviews of all interior design projects to ensure compliance with company
standards and client requirements. This includes reviewing the design files, design
presentations, 3D renderings, and other design documents.
- Maintain a comprehensive record of approved materials and products for reference and
future projects.
- Document feedback and observations, making recommendations for improvements that
align with project objectives and technical feasibility.
- Effectively communicate technical feasibility requirements to the design team, project
managers, and clients, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
- Identify and recommend corrective action for any design issues. This could include
anything from minor changes to the design to major changes to the scope of the project.
- Maintain a quality control checklist and track the progress of all projects. This will help
to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Communicate with the design team and clients to ensure that all requirements are met.
This includes providing regular updates on the progress of projects and addressing any
concerns that the client may have.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest interior design trends and technologies. This will help to
ensure that the design team is using the latest and best practices.
The Design QC is a critical member of the interior design team and plays a vital role in ensuring
the success of all projects.
