About the Role

As Snelo's Founding Creative + UI/UX Designer, you'll play a dual role - driving both brand design and product interface design.

You'll work directly with the founders and tech team to define how Snelo looks, feels, and behaves - across our mobile app, website, marketing creatives, and internal tools.

You'll blend creative storytelling with system-level design thinking - making our product functional, intuitive, and visually distinctive.

Responsibilities

• Design the visual identity, tone, and design language for Snelo across all touchpoints.

• Create brand assets - logos, illustrations, marketing creatives, social campaigns, and launch visuals.

• Design intuitive and high-impact UI/UX for Snelo's mobile app (React Native) and web interfaces.

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma or similar tools.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate concepts into production-ready interfaces.

• Design responsive layouts and reusable design systems for scalable implementation.

• Conduct user flow testing, gather feedback, and iterate quickly.

• Maintain consistency in typography, color, and visual hierarchy across brand and product.

• Ensure accessibility, usability, and clarity in every interface.

• Stay up to date with design trends, consumer app aesthetics, and emerging UX patterns.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience as a Creative Designer, Product Designer, or UI/UX Designer.

• Strong visual and interaction design skills for both mobile and web applications.

• Proven ability to design for consumer-facing mobile apps (Android/iOS) and responsive web.

• Hands-on experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), or similar tools.

• Solid understanding of design systems, UX patterns, and component-based design.

• Experience designing for React Native / Web environments preferred.

• Portfolio that showcases both brand work (creatives, visuals, campaigns) and UI/UX product design.

• Ability to think from user's perspective and translate product ideas into intuitive design flows.

• Must be based in Bangalore and open to working on-site.

Bonus Skills

• Motion design, animations, or micro-interactions.

• Video editing or short-form content creation.

• Prior experience in early-stage startups or product design for marketplaces/on-demand apps.

• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or developer handoff tools like Zeplin, Figma Inspect, or Framer.
