Job Opening: Telugu Language Translator (EdTech Content)

We are looking for an experienced Telugu Language Translator who has previously worked on educational (EdTech) content, specifically for students from Class 1 to Class 12.

This role requires someone who understands how school-level content is written and taught, and who can translate it in a student-friendly, easy-to-understand manner, rather than doing a word-to-word translation.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate textbook and academic content (Class 1 to Class 12) into Telugu.

Work on generic educational content similar to what is written in school books.

Translate content in a way that clearly explains concepts, ensuring students understand the meaning, not just the words.

Translate video-based content by listening to the provided videos and converting the explanation into Telugu so it is easy for students to follow.

For video translations, exact word-to-word translation is NOT required—the focus should be on correct understanding and clarity for students.

Optional (preferred): Provide voice-over in Telugu, sounding like a teacher explaining concepts to students.

(Video syncing will be handled by our team, but if you can do it, it will be an added advantage.)

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 1 year of proven experience in Telugu translation.

Mandatory experience in EdTech or educational content translation.

Prior experience working on school textbooks, academic material, or similar projects.

Strong ability to adapt content for students rather than translating literally.

Should be able to explain concepts clearly, naturally, and accurately, like a teacher.

Experience working with science-related content

Important Selection Process:

Selection is sample-based.

Submitting a sample does not guarantee confirmation.

If your sample is selected, you will be assigned a full book / large volume of content.

This is NOT a small or short-term task—the project involves multiple books and extensive content.

High-quality work may lead to long-term and consistent projects, based on client approval.
