Job: Logistics Intern

Location: Hyderabad (On-site)

Department: Operations & Logistics

Reports to: Logistics Executive / Operations Manager

Role Purpose

Support daily logistics and dispatch operations, assist in tracking shipments, resolving exceptions (NDR/RTO), and ensuring smooth coordination between courier partners, warehouse, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in order processing & dispatch (printing labels, verifying COD/prepaid orders, coordinating courier pickups).

Support tracking & monitoring of shipments; escalate delays or exceptions to the logistics executive.

Help manage NDR queues by calling/WhatsApping customers to confirm addresses, COD, or reattempt delivery requests.

Assist in analyzing RTO reasons and preparing weekly reports on delivery performance.

Coordinate with courier partners (Delhivery, XpressBees, Blue Dart, Shiprocket) for serviceability, pickups, and POD retrievals.

Work with the warehouse team to check pick/pack accuracy and maintain packaging standards.

Maintain Excel/Google Sheet trackers for dispatches, NDR closures, and RTO monitoring.

Draft and send customer communication (order updates, WISMO, delivery confirmations) via WhatsApp/SMS/email templates.

Support documentation work like e-invoices, PODs, claim filing, and reconciliations.

Skills & Qualifications

Strong communication skills; fluent in English + Telugu/Hindi.

Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets (filters, pivot tables, lookups preferred).

Quick learner with interest in logistics/operations.

Comfortable with daily calling to close customer queries.

Learning Outcomes

Exposure to end-to-end e-commerce logistics operations.

Hands-on experience with courier portals (Shiprocket, Delhivery, XpressBees, etc.).

Understanding of KPIs like FADR, RTO%, and OTD.

Practical training in exception management, MIS reporting, and coordination skills.
