- Assist in managing daily security operations for the hotel and adjoining premises.
- Monitor and supervise security staff to ensure adherence to SOPs.
- Oversee access control, CCTV surveillance, and patrol procedures.
Ensure proper incident reporting, investigation, and follow-up.
Ensure a secure and comfortable environment for guests and employees.
- Coordinate with other departments to manage VIP movements, larger exhibition and convention events, and high-profile guests.
- Handle guest complaints related to safety/security in a professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements (fire safety, licenses, security clearances, etc.).
- Support in implementing and maintaining emergency response plans and evacuation procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments of hotel facilities.
- Assist in rostering, scheduling, and performance management of the security team.
- Conduct regular training for security personnel on safety protocols, first aid, and emergency response.
- Motivate and maintain discipline among team members.
- Plan and supervise security arrangements for large events, weddings, and conferences with coordination of security manager.
- Coordinate with external agencies (police, fire brigade, ambulance services) for special requirements.
- Maintain daily occurrence reports, key control logs, and incident registers.
- Prepare weekly/monthly security reports for management review.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety, emergency procedures, and local security laws.
- Proficient in CCTV operations and hotel security systems.
- Excellenta communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle crisis situations effectively.
- Physically fit to conduct security inspections and respond to emergencies
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends.
