We're now looking for a Social Media Assistant Manager who can turn Veera's Instagram and YouTube into powerful channels for education, storytelling, and growth.

This role is perfect for someone who understands what it takes to build a high-quality brand and go viral. Role OverviewYou'll own Veera's Instagram and YouTube channels — from planning and ideation to posting, engagement, and performance tracking. You'll work closely with the founders, video editors, and our influencer team to bring the brand to life through compelling short-form video and storytelling.

This is a creator-led role — ideal for someone who's not just managing from behind a screen, but also confident in front of the camera, shooting, scripting, or even editing light content themselves. What You'll

Do Instagram & YouTube Channel ManagementBuild and manage weekly content calendars for Instagram and YouTube (long form Shorts)Post consistently with on-brand captions, hashtags, and publishing strategy

Engage with followers via comments, DMs, polls, and stories

Ensure Veera's feed and channel feel premium, fresh, and thoughtfully curated Content Ideation & CreationConceptualize high-performing Reels and YouTube Shorts — founder content, UGC, voiceovers, trends, memes

Write scripts, source sounds, and brief editors or designers — or create content directly on your phone when needed

Work closely with the influencer team to repurpose collab content

Confidently record or direct simple shoots with minimal support Performance Tracking & ReportingTrack performance weekly — views, saves, shares, watch time, engagement, follower growth

Identify what's working and double down on formats or angles

Stay on top of cultural trends and bring fresh ideas every week You're a Great Fit If You…Have 2-4 years of experience managing Instagram and YouTube for a consumer brand (ideally D2C, wellness, or lifestyle). Bonus if you've worked in a fast-paced startup.Understand what makes short-form content perform — hooks, visuals, trends, music, storytelling

Know how to brief video editors and designers and are comfortable jumping in to shoot/record content yourself

Are organized, proactive, and comfortable working cross-functionally with founders, influencers, and marketing team

Have your own Instagram or YouTube presence that you're actively building — and understand the creator mindset

Are skilled at shooting/editing simple videos or recording voiceovers

Have a creative eye and know how to elevate aesthetics using just a phone and good lighting
