Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive with proven experience in the EdTech industry and strong familiarity with the Gujarat market. This role requires a passionate sales professional who understands the local education ecosystem and can drive business growth across Gujarat.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across educational institutions, coaching centers, and individual clients in Gujarat
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through strategic prospecting and networking
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities in tier 2 and tier 3 cities across Gujarat
Sales Execution
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients
- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs
- Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively with various stakeholders
- Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular performance reports
Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with educational institutions, school management, and key decision-makers
- Understand client needs and provide customized AI EdTech solutions
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and drive retention through excellent service
Market Intelligence
- Stay updated on EdTech industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on market insights
- Represent Reasonify at education conferences, seminars, and networking events across Gujarat
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 3-5 years of proven sales experience in the EdTech industry
- Demonstrated track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets
- Experience working in Gujarat market with established network in the education sector
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of Gujarat's education ecosystem and cultural nuances
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite
- Outstanding negotiation and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- MBA or equivalent qualification preferred
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep understanding of Gujarat's education landscape including Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, and surrounding regions
- Existing relationships with schools, colleges, coaching institutes, and education boards in Gujarat
- Passion for technology-driven education solutions
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in a startup environment
- Willingness to travel extensively across Gujarat
