Job Summary

Rasayanam seeks a strategic, reliable, and senior
Art Director / Senior Designer / Design Head
with proven expertise in:

• Packaging design
• Catalog creation
• Social media creatives
• AI-powered design solutions

The ideal candidate will provide creative vision, technical excellence, and deliver high-impact designs under tight deadlines. Requires leadership across digital and print formats.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and execute comprehensive design strategies for packaging, catalog, and social media projects.
• Lead design projects from concept to final production, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.
• Create innovative packaging and catalog designs that enhance product appeal and market positioning.
• Design visually compelling social media creatives aligned with brand standards.
• Develop and implement AI-generated design tools, templates, and workflows to enhance productivity and creativity.

Technical Design Execution

• Produce print-ready files with accurate specifications and color profiles.
• Coordinate with printing vendors and ensure quality control throughout production.
• Ensure design output meets requirements for both digital (social media, web) and print applications.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
• Create detailed design guidelines and maintain brand asset libraries.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to understand design requirements across all channels.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and senior management.
• Provide design guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Collaborate with external agencies, freelancers, and AI technology partners when required.

Required Qualifications

Experience Requirements

• Minimum
  6–8 years
  of professional design experience in an agency or in-house environment.
• Mandatory:
  Proven track record in
  packaging design
  (FMCG, retail, or consumer products).
• Mandatory:
  Experience in
  catalog design, print production, and digital/social media creative development
  .
• Hands-on experience with creative projects powered by
  AI tools
  (e.g., generative AI platforms for design).
• Strong
  portfolio
  demonstrating successful packaging launches, catalog campaigns, and digital/social media work.

Technical Skills

• Expert proficiency in
  Adobe Creative Suite
  (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Working knowledge of
  social media design formats, trends, and digital marketing principles
  .
• Exposure to
  AI design tools
  (e.g., Midjourney, Photoshop AI, RunwayML) – preferred.
• Strong understanding of
  print production processes, color management, and pre-press
  .
• Knowledge of
  packaging materials, printing techniques, and cost considerations
  .
• Experience with
  3D rendering software
  (Cinema 4D, Blender) – preferred.

Design Expertise

• Strong
  typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills
  .
• Understanding of
  consumer psychology, market trends in packaging, and social media engagement
  .
• Experience developing
  brand guidelines
  and implementing across print and digital channels.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
