Job Description – Sales & Marketing Manager (Hotel, Forbesganj)

The Sales & Marketing Manager drives all revenue-generating activities — including rooms, banquets, F&B, and events. The role combines strategic business development with hands-on local marketing, ensuring steady occupancy, visibility, and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the hotel's sales plan for rooms, banquets, and restaurant promotions.
  • Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, wedding planners, and local institutions.
  • Create B2B and B2C lead pipelines through visits, calls, and digital campaigns.
  • Manage OTA channels , Goibibo, Agoda, MakeMyTrip) and ensure dynamic rate parity.
  • Coordinate with Front Office and Revenue teams for yield management and occupancy forecasting.
  • Prepare monthly sales reports, market intelligence, and competitor analysis.
  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns (social media, Google Maps, local influencers).
  • Lead in-hotel events, promotions, and brand tie-ups to enhance visibility.
  • Maintain a CRM database of clients, repeat guests, and corporate accounts.
  • Represent the hotel at local events, exhibitions, and tourism meetings.
  • Design seasonal packages, weekend offers, and festival campaigns.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Hotel Management, Marketing, or Business.
  • 3–7 years of experience in hotel sales or marketing, preferably in Tier-2 cities.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with OTAs, CRM tools, social media, and content creation.
  • Proactive, revenue-driven mindset with a strong local market network.
  • Ability to lead a small sales team or coordinate with front office marketing efforts.

Work Hours

6 days/week | Flexible timing based on client meetings and events.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
