The Opportunity: R&D Operations Manager - Drive Innovation from Concept to RealityWe are seeking an exceptional and visionary R&D Operations Manager to be the driving force behind our state-of-the-art R&D factory. This isn't merely a management role; it's an opportunity to spearhead the operational excellence that transforms revolutionary ideas into tangible, market-ready solutions. You will be the linchpin connecting our brilliant R&D engineering team with the practical realities of production, ensuring that our advanced concrete elements are prototyped, perfected, and delivered with unmatched efficiency and quality.
Your leadership will be crucial in optimising resources, empowering our skilled workforce, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Your Impact on Our MissionAs our R&D Operations Manager, you will:Lead Factory Operations: Orchestrate the daily rhythm of our 15,000 sq.
ft. R&D factory, ensuring peak efficiency, unwavering safety standards, and continuous productivity across all innovation and production activities. Champion Prototype Development: Oversee the meticulous prototyping of our advanced concrete elements (Non-Prismatic Beams, Hollow Core Columns, TRC Panels, etc.), translating complex engineering designs into high-quality physical prototypes.
Optimise Resource & Inventory Flow: Implement intelligent inventory tracking and procurement systems, meticulously managing raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure seamless operations. Inspire & Empower Your Team: Lead, mentor, and develop a dedicated team of technicians and skilled labour, fostering a culture of excellence, high morale, and continuous improvement.
Drive Project Execution: Plan, manage, and execute critical pilot projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to stringent quality standards, and seamless collaboration with all stakeholders. Desired Qualifications & Skills: Who We're Looking ForWe are searching for a dynamic leader with:A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
(Exceptional Diploma holders with extensive relevant experience are strongly encouraged to apply.)5 years of progressive experience in demanding factory operations, ideally within precast concrete or advanced construction materials manufacturing. A proven track record of inspiring team leadership and effective people management. A strong grasp of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain optimisation.
Demonstrated success in pilot project execution and delivery, managing complex timelines and quality benchmarks. In-depth knowledge of compliance, safety protocols, and licensing within a manufacturing environment.
