About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
Python Django Developer
to join our technology team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications with a focus on performance, security, and reliability. You will work closely with our project managers and technical leads to deliver high-quality solutions for enterprise and event-tech platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using
    Python (Django/DRF)
    .
  • Build and integrate
    RESTful APIs
    and third-party services.
  • Work with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), design schemas, and optimize queries.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers (React/Angular/Vue) to integrate user-facing elements.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years
    proven experience with
    Python & Django
    framework.
  • Strong understanding of
    REST APIs, Django REST Framework (DRF)
    .
  • Experience with relational databases (
    MySQL, PostgreSQL
    ) and ORM.
  • Knowledge of
    HTML, CSS, JavaScript
    and integration with front-end frameworks.
  • Familiarity with
    Docker, AWS/OCI, Nginx, Gunicorn/UWSGI
    is a plus.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SaaS applications.
  • Knowledge of
    Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ
    .
  • Exposure to
    high-traffic, high-availability systems
    .
