Job Overview:

The Quality Assurance Tester (iOS & Android) is responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. This role involves developing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with development teams to enhance the quality of mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed test plans and test cases for mobile applications based on requirements and specifications for both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Execute manual and automated tests on iOS and Android devices to validate functionality, performance, and usability of mobile applications.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using defect tracking tools. Work with development teams to reproduce issues, provide detailed defect reports, and verify defect resolutions.
  • Perform testing across different device models, screen sizes, and operating system versions to ensure compatibility and consistent user experience.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using tools like Appium, XCTest, or Espresso.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand application requirements and provide feedback on quality and usability.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of test results, procedures, and issues. Prepare test summary reports and contribute to quality metrics.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. Stay current with mobile testing trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Appium) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in mobile application testing. Experience with both iOS and Android platforms is required.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of mobile application testing principles and methodologies for iOS and Android.
  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing of mobile applications.
  • Experience with mobile test automation tools such as Appium, XCTest, or Espresso.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Swift, or Kotlin is a plus.
  • Knowledge of mobile testing challenges including device fragmentation, network conditions, and battery usage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience - 1.5 to 2 years

Salary to 25,000

Location - Mohali Phase 8B

Shift - Monday to Friday (9:30am to 6:30pm)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
