Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify change requirements and develop implementation plans, including associated resourcing (skills and capacity)
- Ensure the integrity of services, and deliverables provided by third party service providers into the team
- Run regular leadership meetings to provide updates, gather insights, and ensure oversight of change initiatives. This includes supporting monthly executive forums, weekly status updates, tracking of benefits etc to support prioritisation and decision making.
- Assist Finance Change Portfolio Management through maintaining an overview of all change initiatives within the Finance Operations area, ensuring alignment with the broader M&G Change Management Programmes
- Deliver MI on Resource Management enabling leadership team to assess and understand resource requirements for change initiatives and BAU activities, including conducting capacity analysis to identify and address staffing gaps.
- Ensure smooth transition and adoption of changes within the Finance Operations team.
- Develop and maintain design principles for core Finance Operations systems and processes, as well as develop templates to facilitate consistent and complete impact assessments for change initiatives
- Lead and manage change initiatives to improve finance operations processes and systems (through rigorous impact assessments and enforcement of design principles).
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of changes on finance operations performance.
- Provide training and support to team members during change implementation
- Develop and foster a change culture of continuous improvement
- Demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses, actions and failures that arise.
