Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities for construction projects, including civil, finishing, MEP, and subcontract packages.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors and suppliers in line with project requirements, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to ensure cost efficiency and value optimization.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, rate contracts, and work orders in coordination with project and finance teams.
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials as per project schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels, material consumption, and site requirements to avoid shortages or excess stock.
  • Coordinate with site teams to resolve material-related issues, substitutions, and technical clarifications.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, budget controls, and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation, MIS reports, and vendor records.
  • Track market trends, price fluctuations, and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and vendors.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with project, planning, and finance teams.
  • Proficient in ERP systems, MS Excel, and procurement software.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Commerce / Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Prior experience working with a reputed construction company is mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹35,000.00 per month
