Role & responsibilities
- Achieving goals as per defined SLAs with the customers
- Leading discussions with team and customers of the facility such as airlines, shippers, consignees, forwarders, CHAs, and similar entities
- Ensuring customer satisfaction through effective Customer Relationship Management and Client Coordination
- Managing the operations of the unit efficiently and effectively
- Ensuring quality of services being provided
- Manpower planning and deployment of appropriate staff for various activities as per organizational requirements
- Preparing and managing the Operations budget
- Identifying new business avenues and opportunities for expanding company operations
- Ensuring customers are met regularly and their service issues are resolved on time.
- Managing HR and IR-related matters within defined parameters, including liaison with government authorities and airport operators as advised by management
- Ensuring regulatory and statutory requirements are implemented
- Overseeing day-to-day operations
- Responsible for ensuring safety in respective areas of operations

Accountability
- Meeting customer airline requirements and adhering to SLAs as per contract
- Ensuring smooth running of operations in line with agreed policies and procedures
- Maintaining safety standards and ensuring safety in operations areas
Authority Functional Authority:
- Meeting with airline customers
- Interacting with regulatory bodies (e.g., Customs) and attending meetings on behalf of the organization
- Approving leave for reportees
- Initiating infrastructure changes and additional infrastructure requirements
- Manpower planning for new carriers or business
- Attending seminars/workshops related to trade
Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum 12 years of work experience in relevant industry: Logistics, Supply Chain, or Cargo Handling Operations
- PGDBM / MBA (Operations / SCM / Marketing)
- BE / B.Tech, Cargo Operations
- Cargo Handling Operationsrelated certifications
