COMPANY: Leading Multinational Group of CompaniesPOSITION: General Manager – OperationsLOCATION: FijiSALARY: USD 4,000 – 5,000 (net) + Accommodation + BenefitsOVERVIEW:Our client, a leading multinational group of companies, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager – Operations to oversee and manage production operations in their Fiji-based bottled water manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the bottled/mineral water industry, with a proven track record in leading high-performing teams and driving operational excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee daily operations of the production facility, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs
Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all departments
Coordinate with senior management to align operational goals with business objectives
Manage inventory, procurement, and supply chain functions efficiently
Monitor KPIs and prepare regular performance reports for senior leadershipPRE-REQUISITES:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Manufacturing, or a related field
Minimum 10 years of proven experience in production and operations management
Mandatory experience in the bottled water or mineral water bottling industry.Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to thrive in a multicultural, fast-paced environment
