Subsystem responsible for Engine management system functions

General Information:

• Subsystem responsible position will lead and develop gasoline management system for current and future regulations for global projects

Your challenges (Responsibilities):

• The coordination & planning of the sub-system design work products in the product development (main work products are feasibility study, system requirement engineering, Test Management, system architecture and design, diagnostic concept, functional and technical safety concept)
• The clarification and definition of the technical content of all sub-system design work for EMS products
• Analysis and development of functions and features for Engine Management system
• Statistical inferences-based development and analysis of functions and features of engine management system
• Problem identification and pragmatic solution derivation for customer requests and problems
• The regular monitoring of progress in sub-system design work products & definition of countermeasures in case of progress limitations
• The change management & problem resolution management specific to the content of the sub-system design work products
• The configuration management for the work products (configuration items) of system engineering discipline
• The risk management specific to overall project deliveries involving all involved engineering disciplines
• Preparation of sub-system design work products for the participation in gate reviews and meet ASPICE requirements
• Preparation of system milestone reviews in technical terms

Your qualifications:

• Masters/bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years' experience in Automotive System Engineering /Gasoline engine system development/ Software development
• Thorough knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics and its practical application is added advantage
• Proven skills working on multi-location projects and multi-cultural matrix team
• Very good team player, ability to work with multi-disciplinary departments
• System knowledge in Engine System development. Knowledge on vehicle level functions, testing, emission regulation are mandatory
• Knowledge of system integration or requirement Engineering or test designs or system architectural design are added advantage.
• Knowledge of the Product Development Lifecycle Process, quality management and metrics
• Knowledge of implementing ASPICE as well as facing ASPICE assessments (experience of being assessed in an external ASPICE assessment would be an added advantage)
• Independent and goal-oriented working method, ability to prioritize and structuring
• Knowledge on tools such as IMS, Jira, confluence, Polarian
• Analytical mind and strong communication skills. Ability to lead cross functional team and customer negotiation skills
