Cashier

Location: Terminal 1, Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to manage transactions at our outlet. The ideal candidate will handle billing, customer payments, and ensure a smooth checkout experience, while maintaining accuracy and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all customer transactions accurately using POS systems
  • Process cash, card, and digital payments
  • Issue receipts, refunds, and manage daily cash reconciliation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cash counter
  • Respond to customer queries politely and efficiently
  • Assist in inventory tracking and support the store team when needed
  • Ensure proper billing of items and apply discounts or offers as applicable
  • Follow company SOPs and maintain confidentiality of financial data

Requirements:

  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Familiarity with POS systems is a plus (training can be provided)
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Honest, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Previous retail or cashier experience preferred but not mandatory
