Senior Process Manager - Transition

The ideal candidate must possess in-depth functional knowledge of the process area and apply it to operational scenarios to provide effective solutions. The role enables to identify discrepancies and propose optimal solutions by using a logical, systematic, and sequential methodology. It is vital to be open-minded towards inputs and views from team members and to effectively lead, control, and motivate groups towards company objects. Additionally, candidate must be self-directed, proactive, and seize every opportunity to meet internal and external customer needs and achieve customer satisfaction by effectively auditing processes, implementing best practices and process improvements, and utilizing the frameworks and tools available. Goals and thoughts must be clearly and concisely articulated and conveyed, verbally and in writing, to clients, colleagues, subordinates, and supervisors.
Transition Manager – Job Description
Basic Requirements:
- Self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Creative problem solver with a pragmatic approach.
- At least 4+ years of hands-on operations, project management or end-to-end transition experience.
- Strong operations management expertise, particularly in the Banking and Financial Services (BFS) domain. Proficiency in at least one area (e.g., KYC) is preferred, with a willingness to learn and contribute to other domains (e.g., settlements, middle office, trade matching).
- Proven experience in setting up operational frameworks, including FTE estimation, QA planning, and metric reporting.
- Ability to create effective project presentations and comprehensive documentation.
- Experience in managing projects from planning through execution, tracking deliverables, and ensuring progress.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, MS Office (PowerPoint, Advanced Excel), and Visio.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large, complex, multi-dimensional transitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage organizational transitions and change initiatives from start to finish.
- Plan, design, and execute detailed transition projects, including the development of transition plans that define tasks, timelines, risks, assumptions, dependencies, and issues.
- Oversee the end-to-end transition process, adhering to the eClerx's transition framework (Initiation, Planning, Monitoring, Controlling, and Handover).
- Conduct thorough and Track project deliverables and milestones, ensuring compliance with governance models and established processes.
- Provide regular updates and project reports to senior management and key stakeholders on project reviews, including risk, issue, escalation, and milestone management
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, operations, HR, quality assurance, and technology teams, to ensure smooth execution.
- Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders throughout the transition process.
- Lead due diligence / Scoping discussions for process walkthroughs, defining in-scope/out-of-scope activities, Average Handling Time (AHT), volume, SLAs/KPIs, FTE estimations, and QA planning.
- Establish and track metric deliverables from day one to ensure visibility and goal achievement.
- Manage project financials, balancing risks with the speed of execution across people, technology, and infrastructure.
- Ensure smooth handover of transition projects to the operations team.
- Respond to RFI/RFPs and design transition solutions in collaboration with the solutions team.
- Apply strong organizational, analytical, planning, and time management skills to ensure attention to detail and effective follow-through.
- Maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement with respect to the company's transition methodology.
Competencies:
- Excellent project management skills, applied across a wide range of projects, complexities, domains, and geographies.
- Self-starter with strong initiative, organizational, presentation, interpersonal, and consultative skills.
- Deep understanding of the BPO business, including QA, MIS, SLA, base-lining, and other core operational processes.
- Strong CRM skills.
- PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
- Knowledge or certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) is a plus.
