Position: School Female Receptionist
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated School Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent administrative support and serving as a friendly first point of contact for students, parents, and staff. This role will be essential in creating a welcoming environment and efficiently managing the reception area.
Role Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, students, and parents in a warm and friendly manner.
- Manage incoming phone calls and direct them to appropriate staff.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring a professional appearance.
- Create and manage schedules for school appointments and events.
- Handle and distribute mail and packages efficiently.
- Assist with student enrollment and registration processes.
- Maintain student records and ensure data is up to date.
- Respond to inquiries via email and in-person promptly.
- Coordinate communication between teachers, students, and parents.
- Prepare and distribute school-related materials and information.
- Assist in managing attendance records and reporting absences.
- Ensure every communication adheres to school policies and confidentiality agreements.
- Facilitate communication between various departments as needed.
- Support school events and activities through administrative assistance.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by school leadership.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a relevant administrative role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with office management procedures.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Experience working in a school environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of school administrative tasks is an advantage.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable using various office equipment.
- Fluency in English must
