Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with strong accounting expertise and hands-on proficiency in Advanced Excel to manage end-to-end accounting functions at our Head Office. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations including entries, reconciliations, and ledger management.
  • Prepare and maintain financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly/quarterly/annual accounts.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliation, and expense tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory regulations, and internal policies.
  • Assist in audits (statutory, internal, tax) and ensure timely submission of required documents.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports for management review.
  • Work extensively with Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS dashboards, financial modeling).
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: M.Com (mandatory)
  • Experience: 3–5 years in accounting/finance, preferably in a corporate or service industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Conditional Formatting, Data Analysis).
  • Familiarity with Tally ERP / SAP / other accounting software is an added advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
