To ensure that the rooms and equipment's are kept clean

  • To prepare the Radiopharmaceuticals required for the scanning procedures.
  • To give the appointment and the necessary instruction to the patient about the scan.
  • To carry out the acquisition according to the instruction of the consultants.
  • To perform the processing of the acquired study and documentation of hard copies
  • To see that the patient's films and reports are dispatched at the proper time
  • To administer the radioisotope for the I-131 therapy patients.
  • To be responsible for radioactive waste disposal.
  • To carryout the Quality Control of Gamma Camera periodically.
  • To ensure that the equipment's are in proper working conditions and incase of any problem inform the Medical Physicist / Biomedical Engineer.
  • To maintain the breakdown logbook.
  • To check the room temperature and record on a daily basis.
  • To perform the Radiation survey and contamination checks periodically
  • To maintain the inventory of pharmaceuticals and isotopes used in the department.
  • To carry out quality control of Radiopharmaceuticals.
  • To maintain the departmental filing of records.
  • To perform any other work / job as and when assigned by the superior.
  • To Ensure smooth functioning of the Department in terms of workflow, patient scheduling, pursuing infrastructure requirements of the dept. until completion.
  • Entering required patient data into HIS or computer as instructed by supervisor.
  • To understand the responsibilities and duties of a technologist and facilitate the" Team effort" of the Department.
  • To expiate the entire work flow and keep patient waiting timer to minimal.

Qualifications
Education: MSc Nuclear Medicine with RSO certification

Experience: 1 to 2 years experience.

Salary Range: 50k to 60k pm
