Key Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials and components.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
  • Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with Production, Stores, QC, and Engineering teams to understand material requirements.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve delays.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records—quotations, POs, agreements, and invoices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support cost-optimization initiatives.
  • Work with QC to ensure materials meet required standards; handle replacements for defects.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on material status, supplier performance, and cost trends.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Industrial Engineering.
  • 1–5 years of procurement experience in manufacturing (preferably electronics or engineering industry).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of sourcing, vendor evaluation, and material planning.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, or purchase management software.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹45,000.00 per month
